Mentorship Programme for Black and people of Colour Florists

As a black florist I wanted to do something to help black and people of colour enter this wonderful industry. I thought a great way would be to have a zoom mentoring chat , once a month for four people at a time who are new to the industry or are thinking about a career in floristy. I wanted to make this a group chat as it will build up a network between us and it’s a great way to share experiences and bounce ideas off each other. This will be free and will last for 45 minutes once a month for four months. In call one we will discuss how to start in the industry and making the most of opportunities. In call two, the business side of floristry, call three we will discuss social media, and in the final call there will be the chance to raise any other points you may wish to discuss , plus a practical demonstration. Once we have connected for this time, I will start the process again with four new people. This will be on a rolling basis and will continue whilst there is demand.
