The brief from Ad Curated Agency was to dress the tables at La Maison Ani for an International Women's Day lunch co-hosted by MAC Cosmetics and Cosmopolitan Magazine. Early March is one of my favourite moments in the floristry calendar — the spring flowers are just arriving, and I had the pick of the season: paperwhites, hellebores, ranunculus and anemones in soft pinks, cream and peach. The event celebrated women of colour from across different industries and backgrounds, and the flowers needed to feel generous and joyful without overpowering the elegance of the restaurant. La Maison Ani's warm coral tones, candlelit interior and soft wood detailing did the rest.
